The Institute for Human Rehabilitation is an independent institution that was founded to support and help individuals and society through education and active rehabilitation. For this purpose, the organizing committee gathers educators, researchers and experts who want to actively participate in the processes of education and rehabilitation according to the needs of an individual or a particular marginalized group. The association is open, so everyone interested in this type of support is welcome and ideas that can improve or accelerate the growth and development of an individual or a focus group are also welcome.
The Institute for Human Rehabilitation is a non-profit association of scientists founded to discover problems related to humanism and relations in society.
We create scientific research projects and we also apply to projects with domestic and international institutions whose areas of interest are education/rehabilitation and psychosocial research. Most of the Institute’s activities include independent educational programs, conducted by associates who work with groups of students. Contents are designed for everyone to use independently. The curriculum includes: humanistic life situations, humanistic values and principles especially explained and adapted to the conditions in which individuals grow up, communication with others, basic tools for critical thinking for physical, life and social situations.
For research purposes, the association makes measuring instruments; check their accuracy, reliability, objectivity and sensitivity.
The association publishes scientific information through journal Human Research in Rehabilitation with the intention of sharing the information with the world. Also, the association publishes books that are rare on the market and distributes them free of charge to people in need, which can facilitate ways of acquiring knowledge.
The association is financed through donations or through projects that it applies for based on public calls for co-financing projects in the field of science.
To scientists interested in joining the association, the websites of scientific journals that should serve for educational purposes are suggested bellow:
Journal of educational technology and online learning
